Inner Circle: Coco Brown, mother + maker

There’s a quiet beauty in the way Coco Brown moves through life — intentional, authentic, and deeply rooted in the earth. Now settling into her new home in the countryside and raising her little ones, Coco continues to share moments of tenderness and truth that remind us what it means to live in rhythm with nature. From tending her space to honoring small rituals of care, she finds poetry in the everyday — a return to balance, warmth, and light.

This month, we’re honored to welcome Coco into our Inner Circle — to share her story, her surroundings, and the gentle ways she’s nurturing both home and self. She’s also beginning a beautiful new chapter with Blythe — her forthcoming fabric company centered on deadstock, vintage, and handcrafted natural fibers, alongside heirloom-style patterns, coming soon! You can follow her journey @our.growing.abode as she brings this vision to life.

How would you describe your current phase of life?

— I know with all of my being that these are “the days”. I’m grateful to be so aware of that because they are the sweet, and oh-so-stretching kind. I don’t take them for granted. We are very much in a growth. So much light— and growth. Growing our family, growing a new business, growing a village, my babies are growing so fast, we’ve expanded land, and nearly every aspect of life at the moment feels infiltrated with deep growth that, at times, feels utterly painful… growing pains. But mostly, it feels full, and right, and good.

I feel most myself when...

I’m home. It’s in my home I can so easily immerse myself in beauty, create without judgement, feel and be what I need to. Home for me is where ebb and flow is truest, and where I simply just do what I do best. Where I connect to those I love on the deepest level possible.

It’s home where my truest self is most present without needing to conform, perform, or mold into an expectation. My home, my land.

What inspired your move to the countryside?

— Our move across the country has been a slow yet strong build over, I’d say about four years— however, we had an “aah yes” clicking moment last year in the countryside of England. It was this moment of alignment where I think we both just knew that our chapter (maybe even book) in the city had ended, and it was time to see what could be if we followed our peace- and not only that but our longing to truly co-regulate with nature and also what that could look like.

Things truly just began to fall into place after that… we’re very much on a journey shifting, and moving, to find what feels best to our systems and our family values. It’s fun.

What’s your personal recipe for taking care—body, mind, or spirit?

— An intentional and elemental cup fill. Simple yet meaningful. Mundane yet ritual. A face washing by candlelight, cookies and milk wrapped up in wool. Lighting a fire or dipping into some water. Connection with a loving, and listening ear. All things sensory, earthy, and indulging — in all the elements in my most beloved ways. Guess my sign, ha!

Describe your favorite Under Luna ritual.

Deep Magic Serum is my longest running daily ritual and my actual true secret to my hair health. It’s the support I use the most and to date my Under Luna MVP, however — after I had my first daughter, showers became a safe haven, my bubble for self reflection, and where I found myself giving most to the new postpartum mama who deeply needed rituals of care… at this time I started using Tulsi Bloom and to this day I don’t branch out beyond my Tulsi Bloom Shampoo or Tulsi Bloom Conditioner. It’s the product, of course, but also the sweet nostalgia all wrapped up with true physical care. I wanted to leave it at that, but now that I have the Body Cleanser in my hands — I’m not sure I’ll ever go back.

Why is it so good? Immediate gift to the juicy earth lover. I can smell it just talking about it!
